Jonathan Papelbon’s struggles continued against the Phillies. This time thanks to the bat of Phillies third baseman, Maikel Franco.
Franco would launch a solo home run to left field against his former teammate to break the 3-3 tie. As Franco began to circle the bases, Phillies left fielder, Cody Asche, also a former teammate of Papelbon, shouted a few choice words towards the Nationals’ closer.
