Two more Raiders restricted free agents have been given their tender offers to prevent them from hitting the open market. Pro Bowl long snapper Jon Condo and linebacker Tomas Howard both received their one year offer that binds them to the Raiders.
Condo was named to the Pro Bowl as a need player at the urging of his teammate Shane Lechler. The Raiders recorded his consistency in getting the long snap on the right point, then getting downfield to make the tackle with a second round tender.
Linebacker Thomas Howard got a second round tender. This results in the Raiders giving Howard additional money for essentially the same protection they would have gotten for an original pick tender.
