Lamarr Houston has reportedly signed a a four-year contract to play ball for the Raiders. The news comes just three days away from training camp and leaves first round pick Rolando McClain as the only draft pick left to sign.

McClain has said his contract will not be an issue, so I think he’ll get in before the start of camp.

Houston projects as a potential starter in the Raiders front seven opposite of Richard Seymour. He will have to compete with Matt Shaughnessy, who came on strong last year, as well as Jay Richardson, who is convinced he is a capable starter in the NFL also.

Many observers of the Raiders mini-camp and OTA’s liked the passion shown by Houston.
