Bruce Gradkowski appeared to be with the first team in practice today, which would indicate that it is likely he will get the starting nod over Jason Campbell when the Raiders travel to Arizona to face the Cardinals on Sunday.
Earlier in the day offensive coordinator Hue Jackson took responsibility for being the one who had the idea to make the switch to Gradkowski at halftime. “This past week’s game at halftime I made a decision to go in and talk to our head coach about making a switch at quarterback. OK. I have great latitude from our owner, Mr. Davis, and from Coach Cable, that anything that I think needs to be done on offense in order for us to score points that I’m able to do.”
After Gradkowski’s perfomrance on Sunday against the Rams, there is little question that he brings a spark that Jason Campbell does not.
