The Oakland Raiders failed to sell out Sunday’s Halloween day game against the Seattle Seahawks 72 hours in advance so the game will be blacked out.
This will be the eleventh consecutive Raiders home game that will not be aired in their home market. After the Mile High Massacre, head coach Tom Cable made a plea for the fans to come out for the game.
As it stands, the Raiders have not sold out a home game since their 2009 season opening loss to the San Diego Chargers.
As it stands, the Raiders are 2-1 at home having beaten the St Louis Rams in week two, and the San Diego Chargers in Week 5. Those wins sandwiched around their week 4 loss to the Houston Texans.
