CBS’ Bruce Feldman tweeted out, today, that Raiders’ QB Terrelle Pryor will be training with noted QB guru Steve Clarkson in Southern California this offseason.
Pryor started nine games for the Raiders in 2013 but struggled with pocket presence and accuracy. He completed less than 60% of his passes and had a 7 to 11 TD to INT ratio. He particularly struggedas teams adjusted to his preference to roll right to extend the play.
Pryor also was one of the most electric quarterbacks the Raiders have had in recent memory behind center and he used his athletic ability to extend plays and, at times, was able to dominate the field using his legs.
In his three years with the Raiders, Pryor has shown humility and leadership and this move by Pryor is no exception – he constantly works to get better. This move can only help the player in his fourth year in his bid to be the Raiders opening-day starter for the second year in a row.
