Raheem Morris sat down at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando and fielded questions on all things Bucs. His answers were candid, and are available here thanks to Pewter Report’s Jim Flynn. Really not much to comment on, I think everyone appriciates Morris’s straight forward answers that do not have a hint of “oh no I told you that…” to them. Both guys (Dominik) are better at giving us answers than their predecessors. Now if only the Glazers would step up to the Microphone a little more often. Rick Stroud of the St. Pete Times talks about the Glazers assesment of Bucs draft history, and why they havn’t put out the  money for players they’ve drafted. As I’ve been explaining of late, When the Bucs drafted Brooks, Sapp, Alstott, Lynch, etc, those guys got good contract extensions. They were clearly part of the core group of the Bucs. As Talib, Freeman, and this years players get older, and show they are thoroughbreds, it should come as no surprise when the Glazers ‘throw the bread’. R.I.P. Elijah Alexander, former Buc who passed away at the young age of 39. Always a shame when someone passes away so young. Seems like the Bucs In Memorium page on www.bucpower.com is getting bigger every year. Too big for a franchise only around for 35 years. NFL Gossip never gets old….Steve Wyche of NFL.com says the Eagles should trade Donovan McNabb and Rams should draft Sam Bradford. Lets hope so Steve, lets hope so! See you next entry in the Captains Blog!
