Review: New Buccaneers.com site
New Buccaneers.com website is stunning graphically.
If you havn’t checked it out, the new buccaneers.com site has undergone some major cosmetic changes, similar to what they did last year around this time. However, gone are the Marvell Comics like theme. Maybe it was understandable foreshadowing, considering it was a comic strip season for the most part! You know…Spiderman hired to run the police, but let go before New Years Eve because he never policed a major city before. Then Hulk let go after a few months on the job because his anger management courses weren’t cutting it. That kind of thing. In their place, Bucs are now image files once again, and brilliant ones at that. For the most part the menus look the same. Stories are now seperated on the right instead of below, but there are huge sections below such as photos/ Videos, Tickets/Bucs Buzz/Answer Man, and what appears to be a text news summary at the bottom left of the site. When checking out the menus, I found some new areas that weren’t there before. All the Bucs videos are in one area, and there is a new alumni section, which looks like it has a lot of potential. No site will ever match the sheer information of Bucpower.com run by Paul Stewart of the Bucs UK, that is my Bucs Bible site for info; but the new Buccaneers.com site is a promising collection of sharp graphics and pretty good content, deserving of one of the upper echelon of the NFL’s franchises.
