Friday is ANSWER DAY! Your Tampa Bay Buccaneers answers and comments of the week!
Friday, your emailed questions get answered!
Thank You once again for your questions and comments!  I’ve decided to add comments to Answer Fridays to highlight some of the best comments Ive gotten via email. Lets start off with Questions, and Wednesday, I got a doozy!

Q:Of the Bucs’ 172 all-time trades, how many have resulted in a player being on the field for more than 60% of the possible snaps on offense and defense and also had a positive yardage gain on the play. Looking forward to reading the answer next Friday … Matt Smith

A: Six. No wait……Um, Yes 6. Actually, I refuse to answer any questions put to me by Time Lords, stuff of Legends. Now no more prank emails or I’ll be forced to call the nearest Judoon station, and have the shadow proclamation enforced on you!

Q: Who has run for the most yards as a Buc EVER! Timothy P,  Lakeland, FL

James Wilder
Wilder still has most career rushing yards and single season record too.
A: James Wilder still has that honor with 5957 yards in 8 years (most of his yards were done in a 4 year span) and a 3.8 yp carrie average. Mike Alstott is right behind him, well, about 900 yards behind him with  5088 yards in 11 years, and a 3.7 average; although most of the yards were done during a 9 year span. Warrick Dunn is next with 4986 in 6 total years with a 4.2 average. Cadillac  has 2417 and is 8th right now, but needs only 400 yards to pass Errict Rhett and 600 yards to pass Ricky Bell and Reggie Cobb which will put him in 5th place. Q: Nashawn S. , St. Pete,FL   Why did Jon Gruden get rid of Shawn King when he had the best game ever against the Rams on Monday Night Football? A: When Jon Gruden got to Tampa, Tony Dungy had already replaced Shawn King with Brad Johnson in the 2001 season. Dungy was familiar with Johnson as he was the scout team leader when Tony was the defensive coordinator in Minnesota. Obviously Tony felt King left something to be desired, plus at the time, Johnson led a prolific offense at Minnesota and was found in Washington not being used right by HD Norv Turner. Turns out to be the best move, as its doubtful we win a Super Bowl with King. By the way, I love listening to Kind and David show on 1010 weekdays noon to 3. COMMENTS: As you know, this week was a bonanza week with comments as I got flack for calling a group of people morons. Obviously, the shoe fit on a lot of people. This email of support found its way into my inbox so I felt I would put it up. BucsCentral site owner Jim Roland Johnson left this to say…

Subject: Finally someone telling it like it is: Niko, Kudos to you for showing the gumption and bravado to call it like you see it with regards to (Website Name not mentioned) and other sites and forum avenues the constantly spew venom towards everything the Bucs are doing and have done., I enjoyed reading you at Bucstop.com before you went back over there to head up Buc’em and rarely went there. So I for one am happy you are back at your own blog blogging again as I have added you back to the front page of Bucscentral.com links. I still say we should have hooked up and formed one blog a while ago, but sometimes you live and learn………. Jim “Roland” Johnson Owner / Administrator Bucs Central
