It felt as if this 2010 season was going to start in a disappointing fashion. Josh Freeman was rusty, there was little to no communication with the young Wide Receivers, and other than the first drive, Cadillac Williams was getting no where fast. Then it happened; The fuel that runs the Bucs engine is still defense, even though Ronde Barber ran out of gas early on his run-back down to the 2 yard line (instead of scoring on it like he normally does). The momentum changed in the game, as did the weather. Josh Freeman put the ball up and Mike Williams made the kind of circus catch for a TD like other teams WRs usually make against us! In the second half, the Bucs did a great job of shutting down the Run from Cleveland forcing Delhome to throw, which he did with a few mistakes. The best highlight of the day however was the rainstorm that came through and prevented complete sun poisoning! UP next, the Bucs take on Carolina in Carolina. The Panthers and Falcons trail the Bucs and Saints by one game in the NFC South. Hopefully by time the Pittsburgh game gets here, it wont be such a scorcher!
