You listen to every ex Buc football player, Warren Sapp on NFL Network, Shawn King or Ian Beckles on the radio, other players as well, they will all concur; teams must learn to win. Tampa Bay is learning what it takes to win, and that comes from great coaching with Raheem Morris. Make no mistake, if your going to give him credit for losses, you must give the same credit in a win. Granted, Cincinnati is not playing like the AFC North Champs they were last year, but the Bucs still beat them, on the road. And it’s not like Tampa Bay is running on all cylinders. Cadillac Williams continues to run at pedestrian numbers, the defense, especially the linebackers, are playing soft against the run. Cedric Benson, a Bears castoff, carried the ball 23 times for 144 yards; meanwhile Earnest Graham who was by far the hot back in the Bucs offense did not get many carries even though he had a 63 yard carry with the Bucs Backs to their own endzone. But the Bucs were led by youngsters who are learning the craft of winning like those glorious players with numbers like 47, 55, 99, 40 and such learned many years ago. It’s getting about time to stop the comparisons though (about time, not quite just yet though), but these younglings are the ones who are leading the turnaround. Leading the pack with his lunch box is WR Mike Williams, who despite dropping the ball inside the 5 earlier in the game, came up with the play of the game in his game tying TD catch that was beyond belief.

Even before that, new safety Cody Grimm, the NFL’s only 17 year old player, grew up in a hurry with his anticipation turned interception for a touchdown, which tied the game in the first half and kept the Buccaneers IN the game. Josh Freeman, the veteran of the bunch with his whole year of NFL Experience under his belt just chucked up ANOTHER 4th quarter comeback to his credit. Of course, he added more than just his passing to the effort; Freeman is a Quarterback who throws first, but is not afraid to run, unlike some of these QBs who think running is their job.

Rebounding from a poor play in which he gave up a TD to T.O. over the top, Talib shakes off bad plays and makes his own; as in his 4th qtr pick taking the ball away from T.O. giving the Bucs the ball at the 50.
