Bucs 2010 running attack comes in spurts.

With LeGarette Blount only given a handful of plays, one would have to assume he is still not up to the task of pass protection, or perhaps just in a game like ‘@ Cincinnati’ where the pressure from the defense was so high. Same holds true for Kareem Huggins, who probably would have had the Tampa Bay Buccaneers first ever 99 yard Touchdown run had he been in the game instead of Earnest Graham, who more than likely got 25 to 30 more yards than Cadillac would have gotten had HE been the back with the call. Lets take a look at the run, feel free to click the link below to watch the video full size HD in your browsers window.

Clearly something must be done in regards to the running game, Cadillac Williams is running more Carnell than Caddy, that is to say very pedestrian in nature. Is it Williams though? Or is it the offensive line having problems? Coming off the halftime, Cadillac had two back to back good strong runs around 10 yards each. The Bucs will need more of that from the Caddy if he is going to hold off Blount and Huggins from taking some of his carries the rest of the season.
