Where do the Bucs rank?

Lets enjoy this 3-1 start shall we? Checking around the league, here is what they (everyone ELSE) is saying about our Tampa Bay Buccaneers…

  • ProFootball Weekly– Rank:18  -Forget luck- young, plucky team making its own breaks. Notables around us? Not quite as good as Minnesota, San Diego or Miami, in that order; but better than Washington, Dallas and Arizona (really? Arizona? Ya think?)
  • Fox Sports– Rank: 17- I’m still not sold on Tampa Bay, but I’ve been very impressed with the play out of second year QB Josh Freeman. He continues to play with a lot of poise for usch a young player. They still need to get more out of their running game if they want to be a playoff team ( PLAYOFFS??? DID YOU SAY PLAYOFFS?)- Below Chargers and Eagles, Above the Cardinals (Whats with the Cards??) and Jaguars.
  • CBS Sports– Rank: 11(!)- “Can you believe this is a 3-1 team? You have to give Raheem Morris credit for getting this young team to where it is now. A notch above the Packers and Texans, but below the Giants and Redskins.
  • ESPN- Rank:16– “The Bucs have already matched their 2009 totals for victories at home (one) and on the road (two). Ranked below the Giants and Eagles, but above the Dolphins and Jaguars.
  • SI- Rank: 16-“The Bucs have played the Saints tough in recent years, splitting their season series with New Orleans the past two years and sweeping them in 2007. They just seem to match up well with Drew Brees and Co. I like how Tampa Bay responded to that blowout home loss to Pittsburgh. The Bucs went on the road and proved they can play with the AFC North after all, upsetting the defending champion Bengals.” Don Banks notes the Bucs/Saints game is the toughest to call this week! Bucs ranked below the Eagles and Redskins, but above Jacksonville and Miami.
  • NFL network had a FOR REAL question about Tampa Bay as they face the Saints, check out that discussion on NFL.com RIGHT HERE! Ok, lets take a look at what led up to the Earnest Graham TD…
