Marlins finish sweep of Brewers, 7-2

The Brewers lost the series finale to the Marlins Thursday night, 7-2.  The loss marks six straight defeats for the Crew.
Carlos Villanueva got behind early, giving up a 2-run shot to Jorge Cantu in the bottom of the first. The Marlins added a third run in the bottom of the third, but the Crew got on the board in the top of the fourth, as Villanueva helped his own cause to single in Mike Rivera.
But Villanueva tired, giving up 4 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning…Villanueva lasted just 5 innings, giving up 7 earned runs, and raising his ERA on the year to 6.46.
Milwaukee is now 16-18, and 4 back of the Cards in the loss column and in 4th place in the NL Central. Also, Mark DiFelice is scheduled to pitch tonight for the Sounds.
