Series Preview: Diamondbacks (32-25) @ Brewers (29-28)

The Brewers continue their homestand with three games against NL West leader Arizona.  The series marks the first meeting between the two teams in ’08; the Brewers were 5-2 against the NL West champion D-backs last year.
Pitching Probables:
Monday, 6/02, 7:05 p.m. CT: LHP Doug Davis (2-2, 4.57) vs. RHP Jeff Suppan (3-4, 3.93)
Tuesday, 6/03, 7:05 p.m. CT: LHP Randy Johnson (4-1, 3.83) vs. RHP Seth McClung (2-2, 4.80)
Wednesday, 6/04, 1:05 p.m. CT: RHP Micah Owings (6-3, 4.17) vs. LHP Manny Parra (3-2, 4.72)
Things to look for:
1. How will fans react to former Brewer Doug Davis’ return to Miller Park? Davis, whose career was salvaged off the scrap heap by the Brewers, was dealt to the Diamondbacks before the start of the 2007 season. Fans remember his inconsistency and hope that he’s off on Monday.
2. Does Randy Johnson still have the stuff that has handcuffed Brewers’ hitters in the past?
3. Can the Crew get runs against Micah Owings, who sports a 3-1, 3.52 mark outside of Chase Field in ’08?
