Series Preview: Orioles (37-34) @ Brewers (39-33)

The Brewers finish up their homestand and interleague play at home with three against the Baltimore Orioles.  The Brewers have benefitted of late from interleague play, gaining three games on both the Cardinals and Cubs as the result of the Crew taking all three from the Blue Jays, while the Cards and Cubs were swept by the Royals and Rays, respectively.
Pitching Probables:
Friday, 6/20, 7:05 p.m. CT: RHP Radhammes Liz (1-0, 4.32) vs. RHP Jeff Suppan (4-4, 3.68)
Saturday, 6/21, 6:05 p.m. CT: RHP Daniel Cabrera (5-2, 4.45) vs. RHP Seth McClung (4-3, 3.94)
Sunday, 6/22, 1:05 p.m. CT: LHP Garrett Olson (5-2, 4.80) vs. LHP Manny Parra (6-2, 4.22)
Things to look for:

  1. The Brewers have never seen any of these three starters…how long will it take to figure them out?  Likewise, the Orioles have never faced Manny Parra.
  2. On the road, Cabrera is a respectable 3-2, 3.98 in 9 starts…will he cause the Brewers some problems?
  3. Olson has a 6.23 ERA on the road this year…can the Crew capitalize on this…especially with Parra on the mound (and at home)?
  4. Can former ALers Mike Cameron and Jason Kendall pass on some tips to the other hitters?
