Watching Derrick Brooks on www.buccaneers.com video from Dallas, he was asked by former Falcon Head Coach Jim Mora Jr if he would ever coach.
Brooks, ever the comedian, just laughed.
Bucs fans weren’t.
Most of us would LOVE to see Double Nickle coaching up the linebackers, or any position on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Mora would go on to say that he feels Brooks is a rare player who knows more than just his position, but gets the game.
Brooks blames that on his love of football, and says he watches just about every game he can.
So what do you think? Would Derrick Brooks be a good coach? Would he coach linebackers? Or somewhere else?
Obviously family is important to Mr. Brooks, and he realizes a coach in the Pros takes a lot of time away from that family. But yet people do it all the time, when the bug gets to them, its hard to resist.
