No, the rigors of getting Bucstop.com II ready havn’t taken their toll on me (yet).
Sure the Bucs have some needs more pressing, how about Defensive end number one. And the defense needs this draft really really bad.
But if you think were set on offense, think again. Tight End is a knee injury away from a disaster. Kellen Winslow Jr has done a great job of playing every game. He came in with knee problems, and they linger; but he is able to make the flights to every away game, and take the field no matter where the contest is. Thats a big credit to his training, no doubt.
But what if Winslow goes down? The Bucs let go Jerremy Stevens last year for selling Pot. So would you be shocked to know the no. 2 guy is a free agent and is 31 years old?
Thats right John Gilmore is due to become an unrestricted free agent, and has not really been much of a receiving threat.
Expect the Bucs to look into Tight End sometime during the draft.
