This is probably a good time to mention that the newly-acquired Nyjer Morgan has led the National League in Caught Stealing in both of the past two seasons.
It’s fine if the Brewers want to run more this year. They have the speed to do it. In what should be a very close division race, though, they can’t afford to give away too many outs on the basepaths — especially when those with the potential to run the most barely get on base.
