We’re Back!

Last week, I learned that Jaymes Langrehr was leaving The Brewers Bar to write for Disciples of Uecker. I was happy for him, but a little nervous both on my behalf and for the blog. Thanks to all of you, I had a lot of good experiences writing here over the past six months or so, well beyond any expectations I had going in, and I really didn’t want to see that go away. Part of that probably was my own ego, but I’m pretty sure I wasn’t the only one who, whether you read the blog or interacted with us via Twitter or Facebook, thought we had a good thing here and didn’t want to see it go away.

With that, I’m happy to say that we aren’t going away. The fine folks at Bloguin have given me the chance to take over for Jaymes, which means I’ll be writing here much more often as well as handling editor duties. Still, it would take several me to match the amount or quality of content that you’re used to seeing here, and on that note, I’d like to announce the addition of Andrew Coppens, who you may know from Bloguin’s Madtown Badgers blog. Andrew (on twitter as @andycoppens) has done some excellent work there, and between us, I’m confident that this will still be a home to plenty of consistent, high-quality writing.

A big thanks is due to Ben, Dave, and all the incredibly helpful people at Bloguin who made this project possible, and to Jaymes for giving me the chance to write for The Brewers Bar in the first place. Perhaps most importantly, this is a time to thank everyone who has ever read us, tweeted us, or linked to us – we really owe all of this to you, and don’t hesitate to contact us via our new email ([email protected]) or twitter account (@TheBrewersBar).
