Adrian Clayborn, DE from Iowa is the Pick

Adrian Clayborn, DE from Iowa is the PickDefensive End out of the University of Iowa, Adrian Clayborn, became the Buccaneers first round pick in the 2011 draft..

A big defensive end, Clayborn brings a lot of size, smarts, and physicality to the Bucs and will hold down the left end spot for years to come. He also was a big time producer at Iowa and was a big part of Iowas power house defense.

I wanted Purdue DE, Ryan Kerrigan, but with him going at 11th to the Redskins, I am not unhappy by this pick by any means. I am a big Iowa fan and got to watch a lot of Hawakeye games, and Clayborn was constantly double teamed and made several big time plays for the Hawkeyes.

I love how physical AND smart he plays. Many Buc fans will not be inlove with this pick at first, but Clayborn will be a great fit for this Bucs defense.

I will have more in depth analysis on this pick and the other Bucs picks as they come in.
