Moving On (Sort Of)

I don’t think there’s a ton to say here, so I’ll try and keep this brief:

When I first started contributing to The Brewers Bar in 2011, I was absolutely thrilled to have a place where I could not only write about the Brewers but have an audience. When Jaymes moved on in February, I really didn’t want to see it go away, so I agreed to take over as editor. Over the first few months, I was able to produce quite a bit of what was, in my opinion, pretty good work and analysis. However, things have changed since then. My day job has gotten considerably more hectic, other stuff has taken up more and more of my time, and I haven’t been able to write nearly as often or as well as I should.

So, I’m going to be stepping down as editor of this blog. Nick Michalski will be taking over, and will be in charge of the day-to-day operations of the site as well as most of the writing. I’ll still contribute as time allows – probably once or twice a week at this point – and will hopefully be able to do some of the long-form and analysis-based pieces that I haven’t been able to do as much as I was trying to write every day. Either way, it’s good to know that the blog will be in good hands.

I want to thank everyone who has read me, or left a comment or tweet on one of my posts. It was all of you that really made this worthwhile for me, and I really appreciate you for sticking around, even after all the changes we’ve gone through and the rough last season. Please do the same for Nick, and don’t hesitate to leave a reply, tweet, or email if you have a question or comment.
