Bucs Records? We’ve got them covered too!

A new feature has been added on Bucstop.com and it’s all about Bucs records! All time records specifically, like who caught the longest Bucs Touchdown? Who has the longest TD Run? Who has the longest interception return for a TD?

Well before you run off, here is a sneak peak at the longest running touchdown in Bucs History. Who is it? Dunn? Eckwood? Wilder? Cadillac?

Well not only can you find out but you can see it too! All the figures in the chart are links to the videos you can watch right in your   browser, without having to click on anything else! So if you want to see the video for Willy Drewery’s longest pass play for TD ever in Bucs history, click anywhere on the line across the top selection, and POOF the video will open in a new window and play in your browser. If you have any problems, you may need to install quicktime by going to www.apple.com/quicktime or looking for active x controls in your browser asking you if its ok to watch this video.

Topics so far are

  • Longest TD Reception
  • Longest TD Run
  • Longest Punt Return TDs
  • Longest Fumble Return TDs
  • Longest Interception Return for TD
  • Longest Field Goals

You can see all this and more in the “TEAM INFO” section, which you access directly under the Bucstop.com Logo/header.

Below this, you can find direct links to year by year information found on BucPower.com. In the future, more records and special events will be listed here with accompanying videos. This goes a long way in providing newer Bucs fans with a link to the past accomplishments of Bucs players from all five Generations, all with original videos and play by play calls from the announcers themselves.

Well, almost all! There is sadly no video surviving for the 1981 opening day win over the Minnesota Vikings, when Neil Colzie ran back the interception for a Buccaneers Touchdown. Video from the Bucs yearbook is used instead and only in a case where the game is missing will any ‘non-original’ material be used.

So check out the new TEAM INFO section!
