The Jean Segura Suite (With an Illustration) – TheBrewersBar-012

raskfantasy

Another update: I put this up on the music site already as a reminder, but now I'll add it, here. Since the notes/pictures on this page go along with the piece, and since I couldn't embed it, it will be pretty tough to follow along. I haven't found the "open in a separate tab" command on here, yet, so you'll probably want to open it manually in another tab/window. Sorry for the inconvenience, but hope you enjoy the suite!

I've felt kind of terrible all season that I never drew Jean Segura. I don't feel terrible anymore. And, as it has become the norm, here, for me, there is also theme music. This time, though, there's more of it!

Here's the link, in case this doesn't embed properly, again.

(update: after publishing this, I noticed the embedded item did not show up. Apologies)

Notes (They're just the breezy ones I typed when I was doing the final layout. I have, however, included some visual references for some of these).

1. Segura LAA-MIL Trade (0'00-0'48)

2. First mlb Brewers stint (0'48 – 1'16)

3. offseason/many say Segura needs more AAA/not ready/sad jam – yes, the sad jam is a bit lengthy…er? (1'16-3'39)

4. faint spring training fade in (3'39 – 4'02)

5. 2013 season starts (4'02-4'09) *

6. Me and the translator tool talking about Segura's May 30th stats. (4'09-4'39)

7. ASGame fanfare music?(4'39-4'59)

8. Jean Segura Theme Song (actual theme, before I ended up putting all the other stuff around it) (4'59-7'56)

A nice visual during this segment:

9. "Credits music" (Just the traded music, again. I know. This isn't actually something you're watching) (7'56-9'13)

* While this is not actually part of the 5th segment, here is something that fits well right before the 6th would start. Something to think about, really –

Post-game interview, late April
Reporter: "Have you ever seen that before?"
Ron Roenicke: "No…"
(pauses / laughter from press)
Roenicke: "I've never seen a guy steal second and get thrown out at second in the same inning."

If I'd separated this into tracks and made it, say, a bit longer, this would be the cover art (Although, it may be up if the embedding process works this time and the frame shows up)

Also, here is the entire Brewers Bar theme music Set on Soundcloud. I can't believe it's now 52 minutes long! You can download any or all of it. The only thing is, the file sizes for many of the tracks are rather large because I wanted to make sure the sound quality was better. With the exception of the Segura, I recorded all the other tracks using the internal mic' on this laptop.

Music constructed/performed by J. Lemont, with a guest appearance from the Google Translate voice.
