Ok Ok I admit it, I got the idea for this based on the Buccaneers website, who had a nice idea, following the best prime time games the Bucs have played, but their list includes TNT, and other stuff.
So were going to do it one better…the THREE BEST Monday Night Football games, and the three WORST!
Monday Night Football of course meaning any night, Thursday, Saturday, whatever. Its called Monday Night Football.

Best
1998 Tampa Bay 24 Green Bay 22- After decades of losing to the Packers, the Bucs finally take the step needed and dominate them. The Packers have only won one game at Raymond James, that was 2003.
2000 Tampa Bay 38 St. Louis 35- Rematch of the 1999 NFC Championship game that the Rams beat the Bucs in. In 2000, the Bucs got the revenge.
1980 Tampa Bay 10 Los Angeles 9- The first revenge game, 20 years earlier, the ’79 Bucs lost to the rams 9-0 in the NFC CHampionship game. Well in 1980 the Bucs, thanks to Doug Williams got those points needed.
Worst
1980 Chicago 23 Tampa Bay 0- The Bucs were shut out on the road in Chicago, where not much at all went the Bucs way.
1998 Detroit 27 Tampa Bay 6 – Marking the first appearance on Monday Night Football in 15 years, the Bucs laid an egg on national TV!!
2003 Indianapolis 38 Tampa Bay 35 OT- The greatest (or worst, depending on your point of view) comeback in MNF or probably NFL history, as the Bucs were winning 35-14 with 6 minutes left in the game.
