We here at the Bucstop would like to welcome back a player while welcoming in a draft pick and a temporary roster holder
Adam Hayward
Position: Linebacker
Years Pro: 4
College: Portland State
Acquired: Re-signed unrestricted free agent, 2007 Draft, 6th Round
Size: 6’1, 240 lbs
Pros: Special teams stud, quality backup linebacker
Cons: Struggles on run defense
2011 Outlook: Ink this guy as starter on all special teams units, can compete for MLB position
Future Outlook: Best scenario is he competes to start, worst scenario is he makes the Bucs special teams better for the next 3 seasons
Allen Bradford
Position: Running Back
Years Pro: Rookie
College: Southern California
Acquired: 2011 Draft, 6th Round
Size: 5’11, 242 lbs
Pros: Well-earned nickname, “Monster”, huge, great balance
Cons: A tad too slow, seems to be more concerned about making YouTube than making first downs
2011 Outlook: Bradford looks like Blount Jr., so look for him to be a backup and short-yardage back
Future Outlook: Because the Bucs already have Blount, Bradford will struggle to get significant carries, especially if he continues to do things such as miss the first 2 practices as a 6th round draft pick
Jose Cruz
Position: Tight End
Years Pro: Rookie
College: Syracuse
Acquired: Undrafted Free Agent
Size: 6’5, 250 lbs
Pros: Fills up a roster slot nicely
Cons: Won’t get the time of day
2011 Outlook: First on line on the chopping block
Future Outlook: See: 2011 outlook
