The Tampa Bay Buccaneers decided they didn’t want to renew their lease with their Cadillac; allowing Carnell Cadillac Williams to sign with the St. Louis Rams. While Caddy was a popular Buccaneer for his courage on and off the field, Bucs fans need to remember the NFL is a business like any other. Most NFL Players do not last past their first contract. Running backs with major knee surgeries on both of them, are lucky to make it to a second team.
Cadillac will be missed. His recovery from both injuries was a testament to sheer will power and determination.
What future chapters hold for Cadillac, we don’t know, but they wont be held in Pewter or Red.
