Its 2 days until kickoff of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Regular season opener against the Detroit Lions. Last year at this time the Bucs faced a Browns team that had finished the year off with a bang, just as Detroit did at the tail end of 2010. One of those at our expense.
Bucs fans have a lot on their mind. So here is Steve Thompson’s foundation of thoughts that at any one time half of all Bucs fans are thinking about RIGHT NOW too!

- Over/under on how many times the word youngry will be used by Rah this yr?
- Freeman, are you and this offense ready to take the next step this year and become truly dominant?
- Is this big $$$ offensive line adjusted to the new scheme and new coach and ready to do work?
- Can Blount repeat his rookie season, and which other back is going to step up and fill that “Cadillac role” as Rah would refer to it as.
- Is there another TE besides Winslow capable of helping this offense?
- Desmond Briscoe, are you ready to compete and have a weekly impact on this team?
- Mike Williams pretty please don’t turn into Mike Clayton.
- Is a young and inexperienced defensive line ready to put up more than 26 sacks?
- Bowers is that knee gonna hold u back.
- Is McCoy ready to create as much action as his mouth usually does?
- Will a real Buccaneer linebacker please stand up, please stand up
- Dakota Watson/Michael Bennett are you just the newest version of Mr. August
- Talib? Not much to say put up or shut up time this yr.
- Sure will be fun to watch Father Time Ronde barber become one of the most decorated players in Buccaneer history this year.
