Steve Clifford has agreed to become the Charlotte Bobcats new head coach. This report was first released by Yahoo! Sports, and more details are sure to emerge shortly. Clifford was an assistant in New York, Houston, Orlando and Los Angeles, plus spent time as an advanced scout for the Knicks. Whether or not he’ll suffer the same fate as the previous coaches (see Larry Brown, Paul Silas or Mike Dunlap) remains to be seen. Bobcats fans can only hope that he lasts longer and has more success than his predecessors.
