Before anyone says it, yes I did remark this podcast was recorded on January 4th, 2013. That was a slip of the tongue, one many of us have likely made since the Earth turned 2014 years old (I’m full of jokes today). Speaking of jokes, we discussed possible destinations for recently cut forward Hedo Turkoglu, and James convinced me as to why he’d be a good fit for one team currently not mentioned in the rumors to sign him. We also look at the potential of the Andrew Bynum/Richard Jefferson trade rumors, as well as acknowledging just how well the Toronto Raptors are playing. And because we love to think about alternate realities, I proposed the thought of what the NBA would be like if players were allowed to sign pre-contracts in January, as is the custom in European soccer (credit to Andy Glockner for the idea).
