The Bucs offense was looking ugly. It settled for a FG after a nice turnover recieved by the Defense. The Bucs offense was going backwards after reaching the 50 in the first quarter.
Then it happened; on play action no less. Arrelious Benn, Tampa Bay’s lone deep threat, was so open, there was no one within 20 yards of him. Benn recorded the 65-yard touchdown reception as it marked the longest reception of Benn’s career and the longest play for the Buccaneers this season. Benn finished with three receptions for a team-high 83 yards.
The TD gave the Bucs a 10-7 lead, and would help the Bucs run game too later in the game.
