They used to call him Mr. August- because he would run all over the competition in preseason, before he got a shot. But in 2007, Cadillac Williams went down, and E.G. took his place.
Then years later, E.G. decides to play fullback- selflessly. Well It happened again, replacing an injured RB LeGarrette Blount, RB Earnest Graham recorded 109 yards rushing on 17 carries (6.4 ypc avg.), including a 34 yard run, his longest of the season and the second-longest for the team this season. It was Graham’s sixth career 100-yard rushing performance and his most rushing yards since September 28, 2008, when he had 111 yards rushing against Green Bay. Graham also recorded two receptions for 22 yards receiving, including a long of 19 yards.
As a result, Earnest Graham is now No.9 for most 100 yard games in Bucs history with 6, just passing the No. 10 guy- LeGarrette Blount!
With one more, E.G. would tie Reggie Cobb, Mike Alstott, Michael Pittman and Ricky Bell with 7.
Who is no.1? With 14 100 yard games, James Wilder is tops. Blount needs 9 more 100 yard games. Graham only needs 8 though!
