Never in the history of Tampa Bay Buccaneers football was a loss completely and utterly been given to the Buccaneers, then taken away and offered up as a win with only 6 seconds left.
Thats what happened week 9 of 2001 when the Chicago Bears came to town. They led the Bucs by 11 points in the 4th quarter, but a furious rally, and a set of unprecendented circumstances had to happen for this game to be so impossible.
John Madden and Pat Sumerall were the announcers in the booth, and they gave the game to chicago. They had no clue the game wasnt going to end because of a technicality with the clock. Then the impossible happened, and the Bucs had a legit shot!
