Bye Week, as in BYE BYE London

bucsFor all those who were concerned the Bucs may move to London Permanently as the new UK NFL franchise, your fears are groundless; London doesnt want ’em!
As I Tweeted all week, whenever you tell the Bucs they have an advantage, they lay down as if the advantage will take care of itself. With Chicago having flown in only two and a half days ago, you would think Tampa Bay would have been, well, like Chicago was; in charge of the game, looking full of energy and vigor.

My question is, what were the Bucs doing there all week long? When you go to a Super Bowl, you dont spend the whole week chatting it up with Rugby teams and fan clubs. Its a Business trip. The Bears understand, they treated it like a business trip, came over just in time to take care of business.

Lets just get this whole London thing out of our systems. Any further talk of benefit end where the teams Wins and Losses begin. This team is too young to be distracted like that. Their mind was on everything that London had to offer as a vacation. Let the other 31 teams come back twice before Tampa Bay is asked again please.

This game should have been played in front of a crowd at Raymond James. The Bucs heads should have been here in Tampa instead of in the clouds. Within a few minutes, the Bucs lost Earnest Graham, Mason Foster, and Tanard Jackson to injury. No word on how long they will be out, but the Bye week couldnt have come at a better time. Jeremy Zuttah would go out in the second half.

Another question was answered; Kregg Lumpkin couldnt establish himself in preseason against guys who are bagging groceries right now. He is NOT an NFL calibur back by any means, and this goes back to the Bucs not fortifying the team enough. LeGarrette Blount should be ready to play when the Bye week is over against the Saints IN New Orleans.

You have to like this Bucs team though- They just never quit. In today’s 99-2000 Bucs video, you see John Lynch making a pick in the second half of a playoff game and waking the Bucs up just in time. Today, Corey Lynch got an interception set up by incredible pressure. The Bucs scored a TD and failed on the 2 Point Conversion to come within 10.
Then with the Bears having a 3rd and 1, The Bucs D line stops a run and gets the ball back in time for Josh Freeman to hit Dezmon Briscoe and suddenly the Bucs are only down  by a FG with 7 minutes to go in the game.

Then Aqib Talib struck again. Steve Duemig will ask the question tomorrow I’m sure; how long are we going to put up with Talib’s actions. The Bucs defense stopped the Bears on 6 down and goal situations in a row!
The Bucs moved the ball down the field though, but on third down with 39 seconds left, Josh  Freeman threw yet another interception, way too many to win a game like this.  Especially with so many injuries. With so many chances to win the game, the Bucs save a little face…they will be back in two weeks at 4-3.
