Women’s Volleyball is upon us, and all the teams indeed hope to be the “survivor” left standing at the end of the season. With the start of the season comes the inevitable preseason polls. Remember, though, preseason polls are a true swag and have absolutely no weight at the end of the season; a preseason poll and $2.00 might get you a cup of regular coffee at Starbucks, depending on your city.
There really aren’t surprises in any of these polls – NAIA or NCAA (DI, DII and DIII). In each of the four polls, last season’s champion is the current preseason favorite. However, polls are like the weather here in St. Louis. If you don’t like it, stick around, because it will change quickly and often!
