I had to go back to work today, and, it definitely wasn’t a holiday yesterday, so it must be suddenly Monday here in St. Louis, Missouri. Time for the new Volleyball polls. And, speaking of suddenly Monday, that is the song for the day – “Suddenly Monday” by Melanie C., or Melanie Chisholm, or Sporty Spice, whichever you prefer.
“Suddenly Monday appears again.
Where was the weekend? I lost it again.
Run to the bus stop. It’s never on time.
I couldn’t care less ‘cos you make me feel fine.”
One minor correction to yesterday’s post. Barry Bonnell, being the person of character that he is, wanted me to clarify that he actually flew “turbo props” rather than jets as a commercial airline pilot. It’s a small technicality, but that’s the kind of integrity Barry has. Mea culpa on this point!
So, I hope everyone had a great start to their week. If not, it will hopefully get better.
And let’s grow Volleyball together, please!
