Tournament Tuesday

We have seen our last poll this season for NCAA DIII and tonight’s NAIA poll is the final NAIA poll.  Both NAIA and DIII are now in tournament mode with the remaining schools all hoping to be the last survivor and win the tournament.  And, speaking of survivors, it reminds me of the classic song “I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor.

“At first I was afraid I was petrified
Kept thinking I could never live without you by my side
But then I spent so many nights
Thinking how you did me wrong
And I grew strong
And I learned how to get along

Do you think I’d crumble
Did you think I’d lay down and die?

Oh no not I. I will survive
Oh as long as I know how to love
I know I’ll stay alive
I’ve got all my life to live
I’ve got all my love to give and I’ll survive
I will survive! Hey, Hey!”

Let’s grow Volleyball together, please!  See ya tomorrow.

NAIA

For the eleventh straight week, in this final NAIA poll, the “Battlin Bears” of Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana, remained the top choice. Park, still unbeaten at 34 – 0, remained close behind in the number two position. I added an eleventh team to this top “ten” since the top eleven teams in this poll, plus the host institution Briar Cliff University of Sioux City, Iowa, all receive byes into the pool play phase of the NAIA tournament
