Division I always plays the last match and holds the last tournament of the season, so we’ll close out the DI season last. Both semifinals and the finals of DI were televised, and hopefully you saw some of this Volleyball. Great athletes and Volleyball people, too. It just doesn’t get any better than that!

NCAA DI NATIONAL WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL CHAMPION
Volleyball National Champions – Penn State University Nittany Lions
Penn State began the season as the top ranked team but lost an early September match to Stanford, which then took over the number one ranking. Penn State avenged this loss with a national semifinals victory over the Cardinal and then knocked off BYU in the finals. The Penn State juggernaut has won six of the last eight women’s DI titles.
