Mike Williams and LeGarrette Blount slowly recovering from sophomore slump

It was getting bad for Mike Williams. After a rookie season with 11 touchdowns, tons of yards, and more importantly, 10 wins, people were starting to call Mike Williams Michael Clayton. Slowly he has been coming back, including Sunday, as he put in a 6 catch game for 84 yards and a touchdown, his first back to back TD game of the year.

Last week Williams hit a TD against the Packers where he had 7 catches for 83 yards there too. There is no surprise the reason the Bucs were in a game until the end for two weeks in a row is thanks to the resurgence of Mike Williams and LeGarrette Blount.

Blount last week got back into the endzone with his ESPN highlight film 54 yard TD run, but more important got over the century mark for the week with 107 yards on 18 carries. Yesterday against the Titans, Blount rushed for 103 yards on 20 attempts.

The Balancing act with the offense allows them to be more productive, but it also shows off its glaring weakness. Behind Blount, the Bucs have absolutely no one. With another loss, the Bucs got closer to taking a running back with their  No.1 draft pick in 2012.
