ITS 1985: RETURN OF THE YUCKS! Bucs fall to Jaguars 42-14 after leading 14-0

Two teams went into the game hoping to find something positive to build on. Admit it, when Josh Freeman crossed the Goal line in jubilation, you knew the Bucs had turned the corner on the backs of this poor Florida franchise.
Turns out it was the wrong poor team, because we are the Buccaneers. We have returned to our roots.
We are the Yucks! And were back baby!

1985, the Bucs went to New York and scored the first two touchdowns. Heck Yeah..Upset City! Nope, the Jets scored 63 points to win 63-14. Thats probably the last time the Bucs had such a lead early in the game and then stunk up the whole joint.

It started simple enough…Preston Parker was hit and coughed up the football, for the second time. It was an instant touchdown. Then this young team which seems to really lack discipline just went straight downhill.

Donald Penn forgot how to block, paving the way for another easy TD. Safety Sean Jones let a TIGHT END get 10 yards behind him. Easy TD within minutes.

To be honest, No one really knows how much of this mess is the Head Coaches fault. Is this a team lacking in talent, or a talented team not being coached right? Why are wide receivers stopping in their routes when they think Josh Freeman is sacked, are they not being taught to fight till the end?

The defense didnt really play all that bad of a game. No really, Maurice Jones Drew ran for only 85 yards on 27 carries for a 3.14 average. (Math geeks, feel free to insert joke about value of Pie (3.14) as in all over the Bucs face here…). Gabbert was a moddest 19 of 33 for 217 yards, 2 TD and 2 Ints. The Jaguars outrushed the Bucs by 6 yards. Outpassed the Bucs by 39 yards. But the name of the game in the NFL is which team makes the LEAST amount of mistakes. The Bucs have been making them all year long. Today was their swann song: 7 turnovers.

That was rediculous.
It was a game of 7’s, just that they were lucky for the home team, not the visitors.
Seven Turnovers by the Bucs
almost Seven Touchdowns by the Jaguars.
Seven Losses in a row…
Game out of control thanks to #87…

The Bucs had to hear the whispers getting louder and louder, that they were playing for Raheem Morris’ job. Some of them didnt act like they want him here.
