The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are setting records, but they are not the good ones, and these kind of records result in firings.
Rookie QB sensation Cam Newton threw a 91 yard pass to Brandon LaFell, and that was the longest TD pass for Carolina history books. It was also a tie for the Bucs Defense in giving up the 91 yard pass TD, tied with 1995 season finale home game vs Detroit Lions, when Scott Mitchell hit Brett Perriman for 91 yards, as seen here in Fox footage.
Bucs head coach Sam Wyche was fired by the Glazers after this game, it was his last game as Bucs head coach.
