So I am going to say I was 50% last week’s Fantasy Corner. Tannehill is my failure. He did have a passing touchdown and almost 300 yards through the air, but he did not perform like the stud I thought he was going to be. I was definitely right about Adrian Peterson. It is almost debatable as to whether or not you should have ever started him. To emphasize how bad Peterson was for you, Toby Gehart was a better option last week. HIS BACK UP HAD MORE FANTASY POINTS IN A PPR! I hope you were able to compensate for his lack of production, but I bet he screwed a lot of you. I am going to say I was half right about the Ravens running game. They did have a 100 yard rusher, but it wasn’t Bernard Pierce. Ray Rice finally looked a bit like his old self, but thats a credit to the Bears defense, not Ray Rice. I would be very worried about him going forward. Now, onto Week 12.
Surprising Stud – Zac Stacy RB, St. Louis Rams
I doubt this will be a surprise to anyone, but I am going to mold my bold prediction into my surprising stud. The surprise is how good I think he is going to be. II just think Stacy is going to have such a great game this weekend. He could end up being the top running back this week. He faces a Bears’ defense that just let Ray Rice and the Ravens’ offensive line dominate them. The Bears have running lines against them that are the size of interstate highways. They are HUGE! The Bears give up 4.5 yards per attempt per game, but since their bye week, they have given up 5.4 yards per carry. With Stacy going for 4.16 yards per carry, the Bears are going to be in for a long day. I see the Rams putting on a dominant performance on the ground in the dome. I really think Stacy could go for 200 yard and 3 scores. I realize this is bold, but I am expecting AT LEAST 25 points in a PPR league with lots of room to grow. Thats by Bold Prediction and Surprising Stud.
Disappointing Dud – Andrew Luck QB, Indianapolis Colts
Andrew Luck is a stud. I love Andrew Luck, almost as much as Mike Trout (Check out TheSportsDojo.com to understand what that means). He will go down as one of the greatest quarterbacks ever. He is masking so many flaws on a Colts team that will most likely win the AFC South. However, the Colts are going to have to win this game against the Cardinals with a different strategy. They are going to have to dominant on the ground to get past the Cardinals’ defense. The Cards’ defense ranks in the top 10 in yards per passing attempt against, interceptions, and quarterback rating against. Luck has also struggled ever so slightly since Reggie Wayne went down with a season ending injury. I expect Patrick Peterson to shutdown TY Hilton completely. This leaves Andrew Luck with Coby Fleener, Darius Heyward-Bey, etc. I don’t think the Colts receivers have the talent to overcome this Cardinals’ defense. If anyone could prove me wrong, it is Andrew Luck, but I would look elsewhere this week for your quarterback spot.
