Today’s Bucs feature the head coach doing a call in show or going back to Jon Gruden a feature show where he didnt answer questions. But back in the day Bucs coaches would do a Monday Night Segment on local WTOG 44 all the way up to the Sam Wyche show.
But up until now I have not been able to find a single surviving copy of the JOhn McKay Show!
This one was after the Bucs first win of the year in 1983 on the road against the Minnesota Vikings. The Bucs had just switched gears and tried James Wilder at tailback. The experiment was a huge success and Wilder broke 200 yards and the Bucs finally walked away winners.
