Time for a little predicting…. Before preseason, we have most of the teams set rosters…so lets do this.

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS- Drew Brees was more human last year, and I feel like the Saints will repeat what the Falcons did last year. This team is designed to go as far as Brees goes. Thats their Achilies Heel.

ATLANTA FALCONS- They fell last year, and this year should be more of the same. Not as bad though, probably a .500 year for Atlanta, dogging it out with the Bucs and Panthers.

CAROLINA PANTHERS- They won’t have the same dominant performance as last year, but if they do, look out. Because that will signify a dominance of the Panthers for some time.

AFC EAST

  • Miami   10-6
  • New England 10-6
  • NY Jets  9-7
  • Buffalo 6-10
  • WHY? Miami is improving their roster last two years, and Brady is due for a age reminder. Jets have the horses, but no QB. Buffalo is not ready yet.

NORTH

  • Baltimore 11-5
  • Pittsburgh 10-6
  • Cleveland 9-7
  • Cincinnati 5-11
  • Bengals missed their chance, too many coaching changes. Cleveland is ready for an upswing but not because of Johnny Football. Steelers are never down for long, and Baltimore has some talent.

SOUTH

  • Indianapolis  10-6
  • Jacksonville  7-9
  • Tennessee   6-10
  • Houston     3-13
  • Colts have what it takes, and Jax is improving. Tennessee is still growing and Houston is starting over again.

WEST

  • Denver 12-4
  • Oakland 10-6
  • San Diego 9-7
  • Kansas City 8-8
  • Denver is ready to go back for another shot, and Oakland finally has what it takes to get back to winning football. Chargers will lose one fatally close game, while KC falls back to earth, just not all the way back.

NFC EAST

  • Philadelphia 11-5
  • Dallas 8-8
  • NY Giants 8-8
  • Washington 7-9
  • Eagles are too good compared to the rest. Dallas D closer to Tampa 2 ready but needs more time. Giants and Redskins just don’t have the talent in enough places.

SOUTH

  • Carolina 11-5
  • Tampa Bay 9-7
  • New Orleans 7-9
  • Atlanta 6-10

NORTH

  • Green Bay  12-4
  • Chicago 11-5
  • Detroit 9-7
  • Minnesota 4-12
  • Vikings are starting over while Detroit may as well be with new coaching staff. Chicago is good, but Packers are class of the NFC. Packers are my SuperBowl favorite.

WEST

  • Seattle 11-5
  • San Francisco 10-6
  • St. Louis Rams  10-6
  • Arizona Cardinals 9-7
  • Top to bottom the best division, but Cards lack of solid QB keeps them out. Rams improving
