Just after thinking he had made the 53 man roster, the Saints let go of tight end Tory Humphrey to make room for veteran linebacker Danny Clark (pictured above getting beat by Jeremy Shockey), who already played for the Saints back in 2006. The addition of Clark I believe is temporary, but given that he’s a middle linebacker I think this could mean Jonathan Vilma won’t be ready in time for the Vikings, and the Saints need backup behind Marvin Mitchell.
Also, the Saints have added RB Brandon Minor and G Roger Allen to their practice squad, letting go of QB Sean Canfield and TE Dustin Mitchell.
