I halfway expected Jermon Bushrod to be one of the casualties of the free agency market for the Saints, but the Saints were able to get him back in black and gold. Adam Schefter has reported that Bushrod agreed to a 2 year deal with the Saints. The Saints keep Drew Brees’ blindside protected with the same player with this news. I felt this move was less crucial, and less of a priority than some, but there’s no question Bushrod is a capable and improving left tackle. The stability he offers at the most important position on the offensive line was too good to let go.
