This, I did not see coming. Will Smith and Jonathan Vilma both have come off suspension as a three person judge panel ruled to overturn their sanctions. That means Scott Fujita will play for the Browns this weekend, Vilma could play but won’t because his knee his injured – so he’ll be on the PUP list but present at the game, Will Smith will suit up for the Saints, and Anthony Hargrove is officially a free agent free to sign with any team.
Looking forward to having the Saints’ best defensive lineman back on the field Sunday! This means the Saints will have to release one player, most likely DT Tom Johnson or DT Tyrunn Walker, to make space for Will Smith.
