I briefly caught up with the guys from Dawgs by Nature on twitter to get their take on the Saints' new tight end Ben Watson. Dawgs by Nature is the top Cleveland Browns blog out there in my opinion. Here is what they had to say about the Saints' new pass catcher:

Personally this sounds like my kind of player. While he’s a capable blocker he’s probably not as strong in that department as I’d like, because I feel like a backup to a weaker blocker like Jimmy Graham needs to excel in that department, but I do feel like the Saints have really lacked a tight end receiving threat to pair with Graham once Jeremy Shockey left. This is a nice 1-2 tandem to mirror what the Patriots do with Gronkowski and Hernandez, granted Watson isn’t on that level.
