I caught up with Eric Galko of Optimum Scouting over the weekend to get his view of the Saints' first round pick and felt it was very valuable feedback to share. Optimum Scouting is one of the most popular sites on the Bloguin Network and is worth frequent visitation during draft season in particular. They are a worthwile follow on twitter, as well. It's also worth quickly noting that they posted a list of top 120 undrafted players, with Chase Thomas coming in at #3 and Kevin Reddick coming in at #21.

Vaccaro is a guy I call the "Anti-Matchup Nightmare". Teams in the NFL are trying to find slot receivers, running backs, or tight ends that can give defenses problems. Kenny Vaccaro can play in center field, but he can match-up with the NFL's best playmakers and take away the unique advantage teams like the Patriots, Broncos, and Falcons have.
