Saints Nation’s Top 10 Plays of the 2013 Season: #5 Getting the First Down Record Against the Cowboys

I’m including highlights from the entire game below because the offensive output against the Cowboys was one for the ages. The 2013 season had some ups and downs but the win at home in prime time against the Cowboys was definitely the peak of it. The Saints broke the NFL record for first downs in this game, but it took a 5 yard run on 4th and 5 by Pierre Thomas on the final drive to secure it. Unfortunately I was unable to find that specific play which clinched the record online, which is officially my #5 play of the season, but it’s fitting to show highlights of the entire game because really the entirety of the game was special. Of course you’ll remember this game as the one where Mark Ingram went nuts, among other things.
